Welcome to this small space of mine.

It's an easy sc[st]roll from one end to the other. You'll see.

My name is Gillian. I dig: newspaper clippings, postcards and other written paraphernalia, laughing, coffee, emmental cheese, Anne Carson, Bon Iver, Hugh Laurie, polaroids, black and white photos, modern & contemporary poetry, psychoanalysis, drawing hearts in the margins, teaching, ink pens, Angus & Julia Stone, photo booths, warm sweaters, used books, Branch, Steve Carell, William Carlos Williams, making magnets, the smell of sandalwood, Winnipeg, Montreal, and my betrothed.

I've been in: Room Magazine, Ricepaper Magazine, Poetry is Dead, Prairie Fire, Arc Poetry Magazine, Matrix Magazine, Maisonneuve, CV2, The Toronto Quarterly, Side Street Review, mRb, Encore Lit, carte blanche, Poetry-Quebec, OffSIDE, Headlight Anthology, echolocation, NõD Magazine, Juice, LEARNing Landscape, Black Heart Magazine, Asian Cha, Pax Americana, Crannóg Literary Magazine, Asia Literary Review, Two Review, Conclave Journal.

I've worked with: Withwords Press, DC Books, Cumulus Press, Véhicule Press, ECW, QWF, Blue Metropolis, Summer Literary Seminars and served as a poetry judge for the National Magazine Awards and This Magazine's Canadian Literary Hunt.
